We are sleepingbagstudios - the home of the hit indie music show SBS Live This Week and the perfect place for the amateur or pro musician to record, jam, practice or make a video.

Whether it's a full fledged recording, or just practice time for your band, we've got you covered completely. And at sleepingbagstudios every session is recorded in real time audio and available for you after your paid studio time with us, free of charge, every time you're here.

There's a ton of free stuff as well - amplification of all kinds, house instruments like xylophones and hand percussion, optional promotions for your band on our sites like video clips, interviews and sound bites and much much more! The studio itself is designed by musicians for musicians. It can be as private as you want it to be, or have us there for your recording needs at the control room window. Soundproofed and deadened for recording purposes, there are multiple house lights and effects for your every creative mood. As far as video goes, we can film you from up to 12 different angles and edit the footage in all kinds of ways, and deliver the files to you in any format you can think of. Regular cameras, security cameras, HD or underwater - we can do it all!

Lastly, a bit about us. This isn't a JOB for us. This is what we LOVE. We do it to meet all types of creative people and for our genuine love of all things music. We want your music to sound just as good as you want it to, maybe more. We set very high standards for ourselves in terms of work ethic, customer service and recording quality - and we live up to them every time. Everyone walks away happy from the studio because we're easy to work with, well priced out, have lots of free instruments and even more rental equipment, sound amazing and we never quit until you're satisfied.

We're based out of Abbotsford in the Fraser Valley with over a decade in recording experience. Our hours are 9-9 Sunday - Thursday, 9-10pm Friday/Saturday. After hours acoustic and electronic sessions available by request. The studio will run 24 hours a day if you can! If your creative mood only really strikes you at three in the morning - let us know and we'll make arrangements to have someone there to record the magic!
