Aloha!
Last night we played Elmocambo and I gotta say I'm still exhausted from it. We got their 2 hours before the gig and listened to the other bands that were on. We had a fun time with acts like "House Of Coconuts" I do have to say though, I think in due time we can score a way bigger venue. We made quite a few fans and a lot of people were digging our sound so I figure we write like mad maybe we can get to play.... The MOD Club or maybe some festivals. Right now we are making small dents in Toronto but I'm willing to wager that if we play the right songs, at the right shows, to the right people we can get to the next step.
Don't mistake my confidence for arrogance though. We always need to keep working on improving ourselves, I just have a lot of faith in my bandmates and our sound.
So in summary we had an amazing gig at Elmocambo, but we're going to work harder at getting something bigger.
