R.I.P formed in 2007. Starting out with a computer and microphone, recording was just something fun to do on weekends. Over the next couple years R.I.P gathered equipment and had some material but needed help funding a disk for fans.
In May, 2010 R.I.P decided to do a fundraiser, where they were looking to raise enough money to give their fans a Mixtape. Over 300 people showed up to the all day event. Serving food, drinks, 50/50 prizes, and raffle draws, R.I.P raised just over $2500.
The boys then released Don't Press Pause. A mix that sounded more like an EP than a promotional Mixtape. Delivering a unique sound with upbeat songs like Are You Ready and Rhymes That Can't Be Touched. Then capturing listeners with songs like Dreams and Gone. R.I.P distrubited 1000 of these tapes and if you havent got yours, they're advice to you is get your copy before theres none left!
Since the release of the tape, R.I.P have been busy boys.
