Overcast

From Conception Bay South, Newfoundland, comes a new band with a new style, a new taste, and a new sound to offer to the world of music. Overcast is a group of 4 young guys each, with different tastes of music. With these differences combined,comes a new wave of musical possibilities. All four have been writing music long term, but have just recently decided to collaborate ideas and become a band. Along with this comes comfort and ability to bounce ideas off each other with expectations of constructive criticism. The uniqueness of sound comes from the blend of the acoustic guitar, bouzouki, bass, and drums, along with catchy vocal melodies. Hudson Hogarth (acoustic guitar & vocals), Tyler Mayo (Bouzouki), Chris Pond (bass), and Ryan Brown(drums) have been jamming together for the past few years but only recently had decided to start a band and pursue their dreams of being recognized in the music industry. Many factors have influenced them to decide this such as, belief in themselves, encouragement from friends and family, and the interest in taking on such a challenge as an attempt to get themselves 'out there' . Radiostar.ca seemed like too perfect of an opportunity to pass up. So, here we are with our first addition to Canadian music. Enjoy!
