Based out of Markham Ontario, this Canadian Rock N' Roll band consists of two pairs of brothers... lead singer and guitarist - Daniel Grandinetti, bassist - David Grandinetti, lead guitarist - Christopher Bundas, and drummer - Matthew Bundas. With the spark and hunger of an Indie band yet the swagger of seasoned professionals, the brothers have created a hybrid modern rock sound. It's Rock N' Roll for a whole new generation.
The band is notorious for their live stage show and the music of Mary Rose Obsession is infectious. It's one big party from the time they take to the stage. The band's material ranges from a new modern rock/pop style to the anthemic/stadium songs of the legendary greats. There is something for everyone and no one leaves one of their shows unsatisfied.
Subtle influences from the likes of band such as Three Days Grace, Finger Eleven, Daughtry, My Darkest Days, and Nickelback can be heard. The songs are high-energy and take you on an emotional ride.
Recorded at the world-renowned studios of Metalworks, mastered by the legendary Tom Baker in L.A., and self-produced; by all accounts the debut record "Chains To Nowhere" is a straight ahead rock n roll record...no excuses. The second album is already underway. The writing is fine tuned and the music addictive...a musical cocktail of styles and influences. This follow-up album definitely has the potential to leave a mark and stand-out in today's modern rock scene.
