Lexia’s Aura is a Toronto based band that was formed in the year 2008.
They began writing music as two brothers at the ages of 14 and 16, Angelo Kiustenoglou and Sam Kiustenoglou. After about a year of playing acoustic shows for smaller audiences, Lexia’s Aura recruited Chris Zoubaniotis, a long time friend, on the drums. The band continued playing music and writing together as a three-piece for the next year or so. In the year 2010, it was clear to the band that they needed a keyboard player and a second guitarist. The band recruited Keyboardist, Alex Andrews, and Bassist, Dionyssios Gekopoulos, thus moving Sam Kiustenoglou to the Lead Guitarist position – previously the band’s Bass player. Lexia’s Aura as a complete band recorded several demos for the next couple of months while at the same time, continuing to play various shows.
They are currently recording independently and sending out demos in hopes of getting signed.
