Following in the performing footsteps of his grandfather, Mandrake the Magician, Jerome began performing acoustically at age seventeen locally and abroad. With the release of two independent albums and collaborations with some of Vancouver's leading production and performing talent, Jerome has played at various venues across the West Coast of North America. Highlighted performances include opening for Deborah Cox's 2008 tour and opening for Love Inc. the same year. In 2011, Mandrake was titled "Virgin Radios Best in BC" for his track "Miss you, Miss you".
