Forgetting Midnight

Forgetting Midnight was started by Matt Gambino and Manny Gonzalez formerly of Unlabeled Theory. In the spring of 2009 they joined with bassist Mike Scherel and Drummer Mark Scherel to begin shows in the summer of 2009. Hailing from Brooklyn and Staten Island, the four decided to collaborate based on their shared passion for music. In July of 2009 they entered the studio to begin producing their first self titled EP album consisting of 6 songs. In the Fall of 2009 they brought on former bassist of Unlabeled Theory, Vinny Celentano, to take over as second guitarist. Having been in the studio for a few months there was nothing but pure magic from these 5 as they began to write new music and prepare to get back on the scene. It cant be stressed enough that this is a band about music first and foremost. There is nothing more important then having fun and playing the music that they love. Whether they are screaming their lungs out or harmonizing a melody, the single desire is to deliver pure, undeniable music that stands out on its own in a sea of fabrications. As they now prepare for their first US tour, Forgetting Midnight has nothing but a positive outlook on how well their music can reach the masses.
