We have taken all of the bands that did not win a prize from across Canada for the past few Out of the Garage shows (including yours!) and entered them into a vote for the chance to win a Random Prize Pack!

Voting has opened today and will be available until October 15th. The prizing could consist of anything:
• Kraft Dinner or other food items (hey why not? everyone’s got to eat right!)
• Concert tickets
• Headliner meet-and-greets
• Recording time voucher
• Merchandise voucher
• CDs and signed items
• Licensed Merchandise
• Gift certificates
• Guitar gear

Best of luck!!

Hi all -

Chris Platt won the wildcard vote, and what happens is once we allocate a prize to a band in our database, it pulls the band out of the pie chart. We're trying to fix it - stick with us!! :) We're also launching more features today so if the site is sticky, please be patient.

Thanks!!

and Idk it might have been just me, but I didnt think Before The dawn was good, the lead singer well he cant sing...somehow i think your a moron.. The singer from before the dawn has more talent coming out his ass then you could ever have in your lifetime. If you wish to talk smack about other bands you should try to do it in private where no one can hear or read your pointless BS.What about the talent coming out of (or around) his mouth. I think that talent is more important than the talent coming out of someone's ass. Don't get me wrong, I believe that ass-talent is important, but there is a limited audience for it.it was a figure of speech Rami. Stating that he has more talent then the other guy does. And i don't take kindly to people who make fun of my singer. Why can't we all just get along?

spencerdbs says:Shuk says:lilxleexplur says:well i will admit, there was only the one band that had a mosh pit, but you can't mosh to every kind of music.
Not to mention most of the other bands had an older audience that was probably not into moshing.

As for the Singer of Before the Dawn not being able to sing, I disagree completely. The 'singer' for the band that had the mosh pit (i didn't catch their name) probably can't sing, hes screams. theres a great difference. I'm not saying they were bad. They were pretty good, for screamo, thou I'm not really a fan of the particular genre. Before the Dawn's singer was VERY good, which if you actually listened you would know.

Just because the kind of music isn't what your into doesn't mean then band isn't good at it. Instead of comparing them to screamo bands, compare them to other bands of the same genre.well I don't like screamo, I listen to ska so yeah. Idk if the lead singer or screamer whatever u wanna call it, can sing i have to ask :P or and there called Deaf by silence.iam the vocalist for deaf by silence and to let you all know we are not a screamo band just because we scream doesnt make us screamo. and about the singing just because i dont sing doesnt mean i cant i could just not want too so dont make assumptionsi didn't say you COULDN'T sing, i said you probably couldn't sing, which is my way of saying I don't know if you can.
And I'm sorry I guess I don't know my genres very well, I guess I mixed it up.
Sorry for the misconceptions.
you guys did I really good job recovering from the lateness. *thumbs up*
