Prayer for the dying
i honesty think prayer for the dying is the most full out band when is c0mes to playing on a six string bass's , two amazing guitarist that kill u and still shred there eyelids out  "in there own never done before tunning" , also the killer drummer will smoke you in a drum off will his blast beat and crazy amazing double foot pedal technique that no other band did at the gig . One of the most hardest thing to do out there would also be to death  growl any 1 can sing but try death growling and head banging with  intense drumming ,unbelievable guitar whammy pull offs and fast pace guitar riffs that you would find impossible to play if u tries to play them ourself , not to forget our bass player with a six string bass playing riffs that you would never in your life time be able to play . Then the death growling impossilbe to do you  need at least a good 3 months of training before you can get  a perfect sound .
i sry but its doesnt take 5 band members to cover a green day song ,
or that other 40 year old band -Your music isnt anything new to the music
business its all been done before
hell i could do a green day cover by myself . not that hard to play 3 riffs in a whole song is it???

i just wanted to thank all the voters for there time and support (
Brittney Bourke)  who acutally cares
about this band .

thankF*^*^*

No worries, mate. We enjoy having you at our shows. I haven't been at the last one but I do remember your set from the last time and I really enjoyed it. I think you have talent and just work at it, polish it up and it will be all good! Thanks for showing maturity and things you said in the last post. See ya next time you are playing! -Me

On behalf of the rest of the band members (Projekt92), we would like to apologize for the negative comments posted on this website about the contest and the band, Mutual Distraction.  These comments were made without the band's consent, and we were shocked to see them.  Very bad move by a few individuals who were obviously upset that we didn't win.  We went into this contest to have fun, gain experience, and we did NOT expect to win.  Mutual Distraction is an excellent band, and they definitely deserved first place.  We also thought that Our City In Ruins were amazing, and deserved 2nd place.  As a group, we believe that all bands should support each other.  Did anyone see while we were onstage?  The Our City In Ruins gang was cheering us on.  That's the way these contests should be.  We sincerely apologize to Mutual Distraction and all bands involved for the poor sportsmanship showed by a few of our band members which were not the opinion of the band as a WHOLE.  We would like the opportunity to be involved with future Supernova events, and we hope that nobody will hold these comments against us.  We just want to rock and become the best band we can be.  Thanks for reading!

Such poor showmanship.  Everybody deserved to win because everybody
played their asses off.  To sit on here and bash Mutual Distraction
because they won is just stupid.  I think it's funny that you say they
won because they brought their own audience... it's not their fault
that all their friends love their music and they show all their love
and support whenever and wherever they can.  Sorry we can't say the
same for your friends.  You say you have come so far since your show in May but maybe you guys need to come a bit further.  They may be older than you guys but with age comes a lot more experience.  They have all been playing since you guys were in diapers.  Maybe instead of bashing them, you guys could be learning something from them.  Keep practicing and with time you guys will only get better. Cheers.

well i disagree... how many originals did projekt92 play? anyone can be a cover band.... and age doesnt make any difference... if you are worried about them being older, then dont play music until your older... projekt92 was good but if all you have is 1 or 2 originals and all covers, you wont get far....
i think Mutual Distraction deserved to win because 1. they sound like nobody else, 2. they play all their own songs except for the encore that they didnt expect to do... and 3... they can make a set of songs flow better than anyone else...
you guys are upset you didnt win, but dont just bash Mutual Distraction, the 2nd place band beat you aswell.... :)
