Darkness Lights The Night was formed when long time friends Andrew and Brett began writing some killer guitar riffs while chillen out back. Even though they started writing on Acoustic guitars, They knew there was Instant chemistry and a Fast, catchy but heavy as fuck kinda sound. At that point, Chris was added to the mix, Originally on drums. That only lasted a few practices until Chris requested he wanted to try screaming the next song. Chris has never been back on drums after this request, as he was immediatly kicked out from behind the drums and put center stage. After About a month or 2 of practicing as a 3 piece, Chris was standing on a street corner where he ran into an old friend. Enter Mike. Mike told Chris that he was looking for a metal band to play drums for. Chris said look no further, and there we have the making of Darkness Lights The Night.
