We, Circa Fiasco, are an indie band from Kamloops BC. We started out playing shows in the summer of 09, and soon were integrated into the fragile Kamloops scene. Over the next 2 years we had the chance to discover our talents and craft our sound into something original; taking influences from bands such as Vampire Weekend, Tokyo Police Club, Arctic Monkeys, and the Strokes. Through these years we've had the pleasure of sharing the stage with a few notable acts such as Said the Whale, The Wooden Sky, Hannah Georgas, Rah Rah, David Vertesi, The Great Bloomers, The Squish, and our Kamloops friends Sharks! On Fire! Under the Everglow, Say it in Colour, and many more. In a town where even the 18 scene is struggling, all ages shows were not exactly abundant. Most of our gigs were made possible by our close friendships and the promoting business of our lead singer, Oskar Wroz.Currently we're in the process of on and off recording at Marshland studios, with our sexy producer Dustin Marsh. We anticipate to have our EP finished in the next few months. That pretty much sums us up! We hope to see YOU at our next show!
