This year the CNE Bandshell celebrates its 75th anniversary, and on Tuesday August 23rd Supernova.com is taking over this amazing venue for the biggest independent music event of the season – EX FEST!

Each year the CNE concert series features a mixture of amazing musical acts, including past artists like Bedouin Soundclash, Down with Webster, Tokyo Police Club, Silverstein and many more! This Tuesday August 23rd Supernova.com is going to give YOUR BAND a chance to play EX FEST in front of THOUSANDS of CNE fans.

Know what’s better than playing a massive gig? Getting PAID! The best three bands on the EX FEST stage will also be awarded with COLD HARD CASH - $1,000 for 1st place, $500 for 2nd, $250 for 3rd – you can’t afford to miss this party!

Sign up for a ROAD TO EX FEST qualifying event for a chance to play live on the legendary stage at the summer’s biggest festival and other great prizes - including recording time at Epik Studios!

Toronto Bands:

1. Sign up for any one of the 5 Toronto qualifying events
2. Play a killer Toronto stage in front of your fans and our judges.
3. First place band gets an automatic spot at EX FEST!

Ontario Bands (outside of Toronto):

1. Sign up to play any one of the 8 Ontario qualifying events
2. Play a killer show in front of your fans and our judges
3. The first place band from each event moves on to the Final Vote, where fans vote from August 8th, 12:01 am to August 10th, 11:59 pm (3 days)
4. The THREE bands with the most votes online get to play EX FEST!

The EX FEST show will take place August 23rd, 2011 during the massive Canadian National Exhibtion (CNE) Celebrations.

The EX FEST event will ALSO award CASH PRIZES provided by the CNE!

Any band who has earned a spot to play EX FEST will not only have the opportunity to play in front of thousands of fans, but judges will also be picking the BEST bands to win cash prizes!

1st Place: $1,000.00
2nd Place $ 500.00
3rd Place $ 250.00
