Biography

Formed in early 2010 from the ashes of Imotus, and taking cues from the likes of Lamb of God and Avenged Sevenfold, Simon Louw (Rhythm Guitar), Patrick White (Vocals) and Tyler Burns (Lead Guitar), along with a new rhythm section in the shape of drummer Bryan Zawada and bassist Andrew Crawford, had already placed respectably in the MRSS Battle of the Bands before stepping into the studio with engineer and producer Aidan Rantoul (Texas Blood Money, This Week In History) to record their first clutch of original songs for From Rage to Regret. For all its brevity, From Rage to Regret nonetheless displays a keen awareness of pace and dynamics. Moving deftly from the seething chaos of the eponymous opener to the grandiose and, dare I say it, melodic outro of Stay Here Forever, and back again for the staccato grunt of Inside Sanity, All Consuming Black leave you in little doubt as to their capabilities. The fact that they've achieved all of this in less than a year, and entirely on their own efforts, will lead you to expect to hear more of these guys in 2011. From Rage to Regret is available now through iTunes, Amazon and CDBaby.
