Formed in January 2009 Western Medicine is a high-energy five piece band based out of Vancouver, BC. Since hitting the scene, WM have been destroying stages and spreading the cure. With an unchallenged live show, this is a local band you gotta see...or rather, experience!!
Playing their first show in February of '09, WM has since released a self-titled EP selling an average of 50 discs a month since its release in the fall. This past year touring Vancouver Island, throughout BC and into Alberta has supported these sales, as well as driven a huge demand for merch. With 30+ live shows with a huge variety of bands, WM is an enigma in their hometown of Vancouver, playing only a handful of shows in Van City itself. 2010 will be an exciting year for the band with tours in April, June, and September already booked.
Western Medicine is stoked to be a part of Seeds this year and will definitely be coming to a town near you! This is a touring band, so get in the van and enjoy the trip!
