The Dead Prophets are an alternative, blues, rock band. We are a two peice band hailing from a small by the name Napanee, Ontario. We are both 16 years of age, and have been playing together for about 6 months. Our band consists of Cody Fitzgerald, on drums, and Benjamin Blades, on guitar and vocals. Our songs are all original. Ben composes most of the lyrics, and during jam sessions, we both combine our own touch, to create an original peice. We get our inspiration from a variety of bands, such as The White Stripes, Son House, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, The Black Keys, and The Dead Weather. We have recored one song so far, for our self titled EP, which should be released in a short while. We are all about keeping it original, authentic, and real.
