The Cut Losses are an alternative rock duo from Vancouver, BC made up of only vocals/guitar and drums. They have been described as a "Hybrid between Nirvana and The White Stripes" - The Surrey Now and like "The Black Keys on Steroids" - HSB Radio. The Cut Losses bring together a thick, blues, guitar-heavy, yet melodic and ambiant front, backed by driving drum beats, and raspy vocals to create their own, unique style. This group has been hard at work performing throughout the Lower Mainland and creating a jam packed gig schedule. This includes touring to Penticton to play for Battle to Rock the Peach 2012 as one of British Columbia's top 12 bands, AMP Records top 12 bands in BC for Band Fight 2012, Surrey's City Jam 2012 top 5 bands and Y57 Media's Top 10 bands. With a rough ep finished, they have also just recorded a full length debut EP to be released later this year. They hope to spread their music and gain fans with their catchy originals and impressive live show.
