Steelborn

In November of 2007 Evan got off work to find a voicemail left by an old friend that had sang for his last band. Ironically enough Evan had been trying to contact Ryan (Lead Vocals) for quite some time via the email he never checked. Later that night Evan and Jason showed up at Ryan's apartment with a five song instrumental demo that needed some lyrics. At Ryan's first Practice he wrote new Lyrics for a Song Beyond Redemption had just finished. They called the new song Gritting Teeth, the first of many to come. Quickly thereafter Evan contacted Alex (Bass) who he had been in yet another band with. Alex excitedly joined up, filling out the five piece completely. After a couple of shows at Harpos Concert Theater, Token Lounge, and The Modern Exchange, Beyond Redemption began recording their first CD. In the midst of recording, on April 10th, 2008 they Changed their name permanently to STEELBORN, a better reflection of their sound and values. That CD, to be titled Silence Abuse is scheduled to be released in May of 2008.
