SOTM originated in 2006-as J-Wong and SHED played blusey, country music.
The influence of Iron Maiden and Alice in Chain shifted the band towards the metal/rock genre.
SOTM was officially created in Fall '08 by SHED and J-Wong with support from the Allies.
Mr. J joined as bassist shortly after.
Spring '09 Lucas Gedak joins as drummer for the Shiloh Concert '09.
July 25 '09 SOTM plays Shiloh Hill despite lightening attack to a sold out and drunken crowd of close friends.
Early '10 Nick Bligh joins as drummer.
With eight originals ready to penetrate the ears and rectums of the world, in '10 SOTM begins working on recording.
By late May 2010, SOTM begin recording.
June/July 2010: SOTM work on their 2 new upcoming songs Serfdom and Divine Rot, while getting ready for a private/exclusive yet HUGE upcoming concert.
July 24, 2010: SOTM play at Shiloh Hill for their concert "Return to the Manor." The crowd was an epic selection of the most beautiful women and the greasiest drunken Allies in North America. The Band played their 8 originals and 6 covers before the stage was overrun with moshpitters.
Aug 2010: SOTM begin their assault on Vancouver's Downtown. 1st gig booked is opening for Lokrendis @ Pub 340 on Aug 27th. They also begin putting the polishing touches on "Divine Rot."
Aug 27 2010: The Pub 340 was an epic success with an amazing showing of drunken fans which featured the first performance of Divine Rot.
Sept 2010: We begin "Serfdom"
Oct 16 2010: SOTM play at Cornstock 2010 in Ryan's backyard in -5 degree weather with Transient and Gunwail despite being told by the cops not to. The band got some help on guitar from Mike Minoski as J-Wong was not able to attend. He did such a great job we're hopin Mike will want to keep jamming with us! The band members also learned its very hard to play when ur hands are frozen!!! The huge crowd however stayed warm with the help of 2 bonfires and 2 heat lamps, YOU PEOPLE ARE CHAMPS!!!
