Affinity is a Canadian metalcore band formed in 2011, known for their musicianship and their incredible showmanship. The band's sound is the next step for metalcore as they draw inspiration from heavy and melodic elements of metal and mix them into carefully orchestrated brutality. Throughout 2011, in their first year alone, Affinity made an impressive impact on the Vancouver Island music scene. They shared the stage with acts such as The Perfect Trend, Ninjaspy, Dead Eyes Open, Take The Earth Beneath Us and Fall in Archaea, and are looking forward to an even more productive 2012 with the upcoming release of their self titled, self produced EP.
