Connected by their diversity, Mob Machine is comprised of four international rockers ready to electrify Vancouver’s hard rock music scene. Joao de Farias (Lead Singer) honed his vocals talents while singing in bands in his homeland of Brazil. Imran Beg (Rhythm/Lead Guitar) originates from Saudi Arabia, but grew up on hard rock and blues. Yuji Su (Lead Guitar) called Japan his home for 20 years and has played more than 1000 shows across the US and Europe. Finally, Dayvid Swart (Drums) is Canadian born, and has been a staple of the Vancouver music scene for 15 years, playing with such notable bands as 40 Foot Echo and Todd Kerns (Slash/Age of Electric).
Building on their hard rock influences, (Guns n Roses, The Cult, Alterbridge, Velvet Revolver, Aerosmith), the Vancouver-based quartet are unwilling to adopt any of their forefather’s rock clichés. Instead, Mob Machine’s music pushes hard rock to the limit with measured and explosive rhythms, powerful riffs and honest and inspiring lyrics.
Their newest EP, Silence of a Gun, will be out soon. The title track of that EP is set to be released on the video game Rock Band. Currently, they are working hard in the studio, recording tracks for their first full-length album
