Open to different genres and vocal styles, Laura has fronted death metal bands in Vancouver; recorded on blues and country projects; and released her own acoustic compositions.
Songs written by and featuring Laura have played on Canadian, American and British radio stations. “Earth,” a folk/rock song co-written with guitarist Murray Howes, was a finalist in a nation-wide contest. Laura continues to write, record and perform with acoustic duets and weekly band bookings at venues and events.
Laura recently wrote “Run Outta Road” with South Cariboo guitarist Peter Thorne, which inspired Charles Jones of Huncity Productions to film a video in 2011. The video debuted at the South Cariboo Theatre and the song has since appeared in Cariboo newspapers, the Province and on BC radio stations.
Laura is currently looking for musicians to record "Sexy Power Blues," an album of original rock, blues and soul, and go from there.
