The Band! 3... 2.. 1. LIFTOFF ! Its Green Day meets Metallica with the romance of the Cure Its the Killers and Nirvana with David Bowie driving. They are from Vancouver but they don't sound like Vancouver imagine a Space Shuttle LIFTOFF from Rockefeller Centre on New Years Eve Flashy, Flamboyant, yet Sophisticated and Unpredictable. Meaningful poignant lyrics wrapped around tight modern pop rock arrangements. Huge guitar, Huge vocals, Huge Sound. Forming in early 2011 and performing only a handful of shows. LIFTOFF has already moved to the fore front of the music scene, garnering attention in Canada the USA and over Seas. The core of LIFTOFF has an array of experience, The frontman Carmon Lesson has toured North America with his previous project “Morning Maker” with bands like Nickleback, Theory of a Deadman, and Default. The brand new single Falling apart will hit Radio stations across the US early 2012. The single is featured on a 3 songs EP available on iTunes January 2012. LIFTOFF is headed to Texas In March to attend SXSW and performed a series of concerts in Dallas and Austin at the Red Gorilla Festival. The short tour will be followed by several more dates across Canada and the US. Plans are already in the works for Europe dates later in 2012 and Asia in March 2013
