So last year when I lived at the Conestoga Rez in Kitchener, I worked at the Pizza Hut down there. On this particular night I had to close the restaurant at 2am and it was a Friday...needless to say I was furious. I arrived back at the residence at about 2:30, sober as a judge, but still really wanted to make the most of that day (hey, you only get so many right?). Calling up all my friends, it seemed apparent that they were all passed out, just getting back from a bar, to high to reach the phone, or couldn't hear the ring. Determined to have a Friday, I wondered down a random hall and picked a random door of a random person and knocked. Wainting for a reply, I started to get a little nervous as nobody did this at this point in school and I was ready for an awkward hello/goodbye. As the handle on the door turned, a girl answered emerged and invited me in. Looking inside the room was filled with people, pictures and memories, aswell as a guy with glasses playing guitar. I grabbed the other guitar and we started going back and forth, we practically knew all the same songs. He then asked if I wrote, I said yes, and he showed me a song he made called "Broken". The guy with the guitar introced himself as Cory Orr... the rest is history.
