INTERZONE

Sonny has been playing guitar for 13 years, and has been in 2 bands previous to Interzone. He truly believes that he has finally found his niche with Interzone, as it has allowed him to combine his British musical influence with North Americas alt-rock sound. Sonny has been singing vocals for 5 years and boasts a writing style influenced by the likes of British juggernauts Radiohead, Joy Division, UNKLE, Aphex Twin, Nirvana and The Smiths. He is the lead songwriter for the group, comprising an extensive library of songs. Matt Holland has been playing piano for the last thirteen years, and has been in three bands to date. He brings a unique and diverse style to the table using a mix of synth and piano to add a unique feature to each track. He contributes to the band..s songwriting efforts, and provides backing vocals as well. Tim has been playing bass for 6 years and has been with Interzone since January 2009. He is influenced by funk, rock, hip-hop, and stoner rock groups such as James Brown, Mothers of Invention, Beastie Boys, Queens of the Stoneage, and Kyuss. He has been part of two bands in the past, and he has been writing music for the past seven years.
