Frozen Bones

Anyone who's braved a frigid season in Winnipeg knows it's tough to do most things with frozen fingers, let alone play guitar. Frozen Bones knows this all too well. Formed in late 2008, The Bone's previously cut their teeth in various bands during their high school years, Johnny and J.bones spent time in Crimson kings, followed by local thrash band Humburgers, as well as Johnny laying down lead guitar for local rockers Quagmire, and punkers Murder Cap Nasties. Nails was stolen from the underground punk rock group Signet, with drummer Jimmy Jazz joining the fold in the summer of 2010. The boys spent their early days jamming in the North End, well as known as the proverbial armpit of the city. From differing musical backrounds, all members share a love of all things Rock n Roll. Their sound is best described as Sabbath meets Hendrix meets Misfits. It's Hard Rock, bluesy but heavy, upbeat and catchy.
