Emberlight

This Canadian power foursome from Brampton, Ontario has been on a steady climb since January of 2009. They committed themselves to writing their own songs and in a short period of time they compiled a small arsenal of strong tunes. There is no easy way to describe the results other than to listen to Emberlight play live. In every performance there is a level of energy and passion that could be felt from the stage to the back of the venue. What better way to describe the thundering drums of Nix Chohan and power house bass of Josh Grant making the backbone and driving force behind the band, with the impassioned voice and gritty guitar of Nicole Massarotto and screaming leads of Stan Kubrick together they push the limits of the audience with their musicianship and energy. Emberlight have evolved into a highly talented and energetic alternative rock act. Emberlight released their debut EP “Something to Prove” on August 22, 2009 and are currently working on there 2nd EP. Having won the Supernova Break Your Band Toronto city finals in January 2010 Emberlight seemed poised to take the city by storm. Since then Emberlight have played at Canadian Music Week, NXNE Showcase, Toronto Independent Music Awards and also nominated for Best Young Songwriters and have opened for bands such as Amanda Marshall, Static In The Stars, Drive Like Maria, Appetite for Destruction and many others. Make no mistake that Emberlight’s music, energy and passion will quickly catch your attention that will set them apart from other bands. They know how to reel in crowds and leave them gasping for more. This power band of four have accomplished so much in so little time, have turned heads and caught the attention of many respected and known people in the music industry.
