Disfiguring Reality

Disfiguring Reality was conceived in the summer of 2010 by members Matt Watson and Ryan Idris. Prior to the band's creation, lead guitarist Matt Watson had been writing a couple of songs and was in dire need of a drummer that could play what he programmed, at the same time, Ryan Idris had been sifting through guitarists for a while, and finally found one that could compliment his style. Matt had been creating the songs in the comfort of his own home; building drum tracks, writing the bass guitar and guitar parts, and Ryan was determined to learn. To him, these unique patterns were difficult for him to grasp at first, but the poly-rhythmic drumming and odd time signatures seemed to pique his curiosity, and grew on the drummer with time, and so along came this band.
