Hey everyone,
Here we are in Winnipeg! We left Thunder
Bay this morning after 2 nights of shows. Like a lot of towns in
northern ontario, there isn't much to say about the city itself but the
people we met were some of the nicest and most accommodating of the
whole tour. Everyone was super friendly and they were happy to take us
out to some good local spots and party with us after our show. We caught
the end of Daniel Wesley's set on tuesday night - he was playing at a
different bar just down the road. They are great guys, also from
Vancouver so it was a little taste of home in Thunder Bay. We left early
this morning and just arrived at the venue in Winnipeg, a nice big
place called MyBar. An 8 hour drive feels like nothing after trekking
all over Canada for the last week and a half! Winnipeg is cold - it
actually feels like winter again after a week of unusually warm weather,
so we're hanging out in the bar and stealing WiFi from the hotel next
door. Looking forward to tonight's show, this venue has a great layout
and a nice stage so it should be a good one! We'll let ya know how it
goes, bye for now
