BridgesOut

Sure, every band is made up of some old friends (and so is Bridges Out), but how about a band that reached into the depths of the inter-webs to complete their group of like-minded musical brethren? With members originally hailing from Prince Rupert to Penticton to the Sunshine Coast, this British Columbian born-and-bred group all found their way to Vancouver (and to craigslist) ? and so in one tame west coast winter, Bridges Out was hatched. Rock.. Hardcore.. Post-Punk.. Dance.. all of the above apply to the Bridges Out feel. Their influences range from mainstream acts like The Mars Volta and Chiodos ? to more niche groups like Scary Kids Scaring Kids, Dance Gavin Dance, and other great bands that use the same word twice in their name. And maybe there?s a little Bee Gees thrown in for good measure? Their goals: keep writing new tunes, keep honing their craft, and keep rocking shows that the crowds dig as much as they do. The rest should take care of itself.
