"I feel that there is something intangible in the work of Are You Wasted?, as a whole, that separates them from a lot of bands who have a genre's sound down solid, but lack real substance. I've listened to their many sides now, and find them to be consistently appealing. The soundscapes they create are always theirs. They are not overwhelmingly like any particular band or influence. You can argue about whether the right word is "fresh," but if more bands had "it," there'd be more really good bands."
