Age of the Zodiac is a Canadian Alternative Rock band from Langley British Columbia. Formed in Late 2011 by singer/lyricist/guitarist Andras Hahn, drummer Sandor hahn, bassist Connor Mahoney and lead guitarist Matt Nusche.
Formally a two piece duo, the Hahns decided to solidify their sound with the addition of two new members. Surrounding themselves with musically inclined friends, it wasn't hard for the brothers to extend their group. At a glance what would seem like a clash of interests, turned into more of a complimentary taste. The easy listening bass player Connor Mahoney, along with the technical lead of Matt Nusche was an excellent combination for the free-form style that the Hahns already possessed.
Nearing completion of their first album "Frozen Homes"; recorded and produced by Sandor Hahn with his certification of mixing/mastering degree at PAVI (pacific audio and visual institute). Age of the Zodiac looks forward to the future, feeling comfortable with learning and growing as their career's progress. Having attained their desired sound through heavy influence from bands such as Modest Mouse and Radiohead. Yet offers up a creative take to the alternative rock genre. Taking aim at its local music scene, AOTZ brings an exciting performance that compels its audience to listen. Leaving a unique experience as a product of their environment. Marching on with tenacity aspiring to be one of the greats.
