Drunk is everything the band's name suggests and much more. This is modern rock with a sense of danger and beauty that's been missing for far too long. Their suitably explosive yet gorgeous debut effort Greatest Hits marks the spot for a new beginning from a band of rock & roll brothers united by some legendary pasts and a suddenly brighter future.
"We're all looking for a rebirth here," explains the group's lead singer Darren Christopher. "We're looking to get back that same feeling we had when we all first started making music--the sense of doing it for the pure joy of making music. Along the way the whole idea that got us into this had been raped and sodomized. We were all in mourning of that and wondering if we could somehow get it back. As it turns out, the only way we could get it all back was to start it all new. Now we have that opportunity and it's amazing. This music is just vicious, very aggressive and it forces you to lace your boots up and sort of get ready for the fight."
The idea behind Drunk remains a powerfully simple one. "There is no real concept to me," explains guitarist Dave Shannon. "We set out to make music we enjoy and can feel proud of playing--music that people we like will want to listen to. As soon as you start thinking beyond that--about wanting to keep up with the Joneses or about fitting in with somebody else's format--that's when you lose the map. So we've just done what we do, and tried to have a cool time doing it.

Seriously, Drunk has been around in one form or another since 1990.
Original drummer Steve Sutter was replaced by Jayson Palidwar who was replaced in 1994 by Dan Jamison.
David L Shannon joined high school buddies Darren Christopher, Brian Sutter and Mike Collins in 1996 to round out the line up.
Over the years Drunk has shared the stage with such legends as Cheap Trick, Dio and Nickleback.
Ever been to Tulameen days? Drunk was the house band at the river for ten years running.
The music is a mix of everything cool from the 70's through to today. Kiss, Aerosmith, Judas Priest, Metallica and Van Halen are just a few bands that have influenced the sound of the band.
The recordings we have posted are home recordings done with a budget of ZERO dollars.Brian has taking these songs and recorded them with a drum machine and with his own way of producing, has presented you with these songs in their purest form. All of which can change dramatically(or not) when played live in your face by the force known as Drunk.
